Hello. I am Can Duruk. I’m a former software engineer. I’ve worked at a few places, such as Uber, Digg, Upthere, and Yahoo!. After, I did an MBA INSEAD, one of the world’s top ranked business schools.
I write about technology and business on this blog. I’ve been quoted in The New York Times, New York Magazine, Bloomberg, BBC, BBC Turkish, Inc, Al-Monitor, Ahval News and a few more places. I also once wrote an opinion piece for The New York Times.
My newsletter, The Margins which I co-host with Ranjan Roy, is followed by thousands, including many media and tech insiders. We commonly get quoted in mainstream media.
I am originally Turkish, hence the funky name. I live and tweet in Konya Istanbul Pittsburgh San Francisco New York Singapore Fontainebleau.
